48K miles on my Dak and here is the first issue:
My Rear Drivers side window is stuck in the up position. It refuses to do anything....the Power locks on the door is functioning though....any ideas of what this might be or what I can try to do to fix this before I tear the door apart?

switch is bad, wires from switch, wires to switch, loose connection anywhere in circuit, burned out motor, use a little common sense and you could have figured this out yourself, IT IS NOT A FUSE, if it was ALL the windows would not work, also there are limit swtiches inside the door that stop the window from moving when it goes to the limit of travel they also could be bad.

Hey there "yeah" if you're gonna be a big enough ass to tell someone to "use a little common sense" when they're smart enough to ask in a dakota forum if anyone has experienced a similar problem before they take apart their truck, at least have the common courtesy to use you're real name. I'd like to be able to tell who the schmucks are so I know in the future who's posts to ignore..

I had a similar problem in my 00 CC but mine ended up being worn out weatherstrip in the that the window travels in. Apparently the felt is all worn off and the exposed rubber portion is gripping the window and preventing it from moving. Actually pulled the hardware right off the glass. It almost takes an act of god to get the window down and the dealership wants something like $130 bucks for the weathersrips that needs to be replaced.

Common sense to figure out my problem didn't work there "Yeah", actually asking questions here and being pointed in that direction by someone here who had experienced the exact same problem did.

Seems Yeah was even somewhat helpful in his post by offering switches, wiring trouble and possible burnt motor as a the problem. Guess he wasn't using common sense when only trying to be a smart ass
