 Subject: fender flares

The fender flares on my '00 Dak look like they've been sand blasted from the debris kicked up by the tires. I know a little wet sanding and a high quality polish will bring the shine back on the body panels, but what will work on the plastic(body colored) flares?

oh good i thought i was the only one that did this to my trucks...it really puts a blemish on the exterior...anybody got suggestions?

It will work on plastic pretty much the same way it works on metal. If it isn't too bad, you can sand it down and polish it up. But if there's too much damage, you'll have to repaint.
