I was talking to a guy about getting him to weld my rollpan in an primering it and he told me $75 in primer and around $100 painted.The ? is i was thinking about welding the tailgate shut but i just dont know how it would look...anyone have this done? got any pics?...my truck is a 2001 dakota cc.

flip through some mags,ive shaved my tails and put in the rollpan it looks good,i personally think any more than that and it starts to look like a bathtub or something.smooth and sexy is good but you need some lines somewhere.my opinion.peace

You'll never sell it with a bathtub for a bed. Leave the gate functional with a shaved or relocated handle.

I'll never sell my dakota...lol...don't have to worrie about that,but i have decided to shave the gate and relocate the handle and even thought about shaving the 2 lines in the gate too...just thinking prolly wont do that though
