 Subject: Spark Plugs

I tried to chnge my spark plugs the other day and the have metal sleeves around the wire boots, do those come off totally or just the boot inside? I don't want to break a good wire. Any Ideas?

The metal sleeve stays where it is. The boot is just down inside it.

you can remove those sheilds if you want to. if found them to be a pita and took mine out.
