Message: sorry, got my terms messed up. Actually, when the I select the "floor vents" you can hear the air louder through the defrost vents by the window but it does blow onto the floor. When I select "dash" and "floor" together, it runs quiet. Any one else experience this or is it time to get to the dealer before the warranty runs out.

Message: Went to the dealer and got no where.
My foot on the gas peddle is very cold even when the heater is on floor. I noticed the heat ducting passes right over the gas peddle. Anyone tried drilling holes into the ducting to get the heat out over the feet.
The ducting right now pushes the hot air under the brake peddle down along the floor. Talk about a dumb ass design. The heat should blow onto your feet not along the floor.

Message: This must be a personall preference... I DO NOT want that *^%*& hot air blowing on my foot. (I would be putting TAPE over it if it was)Instead, I DO want the hot air to keep the rug on the floor dryed off so my feet wont get cold in the first place.
Additionally, a wet (or even damp) rug can cause all of the interier windows to fog up due to all of the moisture inside the cabin.
I respectfully propose that you re-consider how you APPLY the use of the heater controls. Driving over 25 years of Vermont winters has taught me a trick or two.

Message: I live a lot further north than you do in the sunny state of Vermont, does the tempersture there even drop below freezing? It gets very, very cold up here (-30 °C). Ford and GM seem to be able to get it right, why not Dodge.

Message: dealer said no fix. so, i just use the dash vents mostly and use floor vent when toes real cold. i bought plastic floor mats from walmart that match the dark interior well. tired of wet floormats that never dry and the extra dirt that grinds into the carpetting resulting in an extra dusty dash. by the way, we don't get much moisture at all and almost never below freezing.

Message: Here's an old one, but wondering if anyone found anything out about this. When I set the climate control to 'feet-only', it makes a loud noise from the top of the dash, but doesn't pump out much of an air stream at the feet.
Thanks guys,

Message: I have a question about my '93 dodge dakota. The heater fan does not work all the time, but sometimes comes on if I whack the bottom of the glove compartment. Anyone know why my fan doesnt work? I can feel heat, but it doesn't blow out. Is this a spark plug issue? Help! It's getting cold here! I live in Alaska and need a heater!
