Subject: Brake & ABS Light IP: Logged
Message: Now I'm sure this had been kicked to death but I just want to make sure one more time. I have a 99 5.2 SLT. The brake and ABS light has been known to be on again off again (mostly off). 2 Days ago I noticed that those two lights were always on and now my speedometer doesnt work unless you go over 40 MPH.
To fix the Brake and ABS light you need to replace the sensor on the rear end. Will that also fix my speedometer problem? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Message: Z,
Yes...from what I've read on here it should fix the speedo problem as well.
I've bookmarked a few pages of instructions on this, I'll probably have to replace mine someday!
Here's a recent thread in which mddak summarized the procedure...
