Hi, this is going to be a survey. What is your RPM at highway speed (100 KPH, or 60 MPH)? I am interested in finding out what the average is, with relationship to rear end gears and mileage. If you dont know your gears, check your glove box. Truck year isnt important.
Engine: 3.9l
Speed: 100KPH
RPM: 2000
Diff Gear: 3.21
MPG: 27
If I get enough resonses, I will post the results in graphical form.

just my opinion but, wouldn't you want tire size and tranny type also? as that would affect rpm too. i'll post as soon as i get the info.

00 cc 4x4 4.7L auto (45RFE) 3:55 LSD. 31X10.5 R15LT tires. i'm not too sure on my fuel mileage, i have never really tried to figure it out (and i'm a leadfoot!)

i had to cheat and use a calculator for the engine speed because i dont have a tach or speedometer yet..
6.6 Lt. Big Block, 727 TF shift kit, 452 heads, edelbrock 750 cfm, .513/.513 284/300 crower cam, comp cams springs, comp cams pushrods, 1.5 roller rockers, dp intake, mopar ignition, mopar windage tray, dual exhaust w/ 40 series flowmasters, 4.10 gears, coilover drag suspension, approx, 3500 lbs

4.7 4X4 QC 3.55's 5-45RFE stock 245 70 (or whatever they are) tires. 1500 RPM's at 60
Now you know why I will be swapping in 4.10's when I go bigger tires. That .067 final on the 5th gear is TALL.
MPG is about 18 to 19 Highway. 13 to 14 city. usually less because I drive it like I stole it!
