Anyone ever have this problem before:

I recently installed a set of skyjacker shocks on the front end (I know they are the correct size according to skyjacker) and the right one rubs the outer CV boot cover. The left one is fine. Are these shocks just too wide or do I have another problem? I can't figure out why just the right one rubs. Suggestions?

The current shocks have an outside diameter of 2 1/2 inches. Does anyone know of different shocks that have an outside diameter of about 2 inches. This should help with the clearance.

Have you contacted SkyJacker about this? Seems odd for a high-end shock co. to screw up something like that. Rancho 5000 shocks are about a ¼" larger than stock, if I remember correctly.

Yes, I did contact Skyjacker, but the guy wasn't very helpful. He said he never heard of that before. I was wondering if it was the shocks, or if there is something wrong with my truck.

I double checked with Skyjacker and they were the correct shocks. Do you think there is something wrong in the front end of my truck that might be causing this? I only have the problem on the right side.
