Subject: I need a quieter option

I had a flowmaster 40 series single inlet dual outlet installed a week ago. And now I'm not sure if I like the noise level. Would a 50 series or 50 delta be closer to the noise level of stock? I want it to rumble a bit and sound good on take off under HARD throttle. But this is loud under any acceleration. Even when rolling slow thru town or the neighborhood.

No flowmaster will ever be closer to the sound of stock. Maybe the 70 series. I have a Magnaflow #14256. It's a nice low rumble. The straight thru design actually helps with power as well. If that is still to loud for you add a resonator. Magnaflow makes shorter round tube mufflers. Have one of those put in before the muffler some where and that will eliminate any drone if you experience any and make it even quieter.
