I'm putting a surgrip unit in my rearend, my question is do I need a speical tool, to take out the old surgirp? I blew the pin out of it. I'm doing it myself obviously. Any help or advice would be great. Thanks

You will need 1 special tool for the nuts on the end. It is like an inch and a quarter nut on a friggin long extension that goes thru from the ends of the axle housing. The local 4 wheel parts place here has a mechanic that made one with an old socket and a big @$$ nut. Since I don't do rear ends other than my own I haven't fabricated one or bought it. I think you can buy one from the Dodge Dealer parts.
