I need one. The driver side power window regulator broke. The motor is still good as far as I can tell. The 2001 Dakota QC uses a cable system. Steel cable that meets a steel plate that travels on the rail and they connect the STEEL cable to the STEEL plate with a PLASTIC pos. Obviously the plastic bit broke. So I *only* need that plate that slides on the rail (the plastic connector is pressed into the plate) and not a whole regulator kit. Dodge wants to sell me an entire kit that I presume includes the motor. They want a small fortune for it.

I've seen on eBay some regulator kits for the Durango. The price is right at $65, but would a durango kit work in the dakota? All I need is that one little plate to work.

If any of you happen to have this plate, I would love to buy it from you. Please drop me a line at james@uberduper.com if you can help.

Thanks,
James.

I just replaced both the regulator and motor on my 01 Quad. I bought both from A1 electric for about $118 on line. It was easy to replaced both at the same time because they are attached and ready to go. Here is the link. http://www.a1electric.com/

Replaced my plastic pos with a rubber faucet washer quite a while ago. So far, so good.
