Message: Went and had a talk with the Dodge dealer's head engine guy. Very neet information. Found out that a comin with the 4.7 is an exhaust leek in the header underneath the aluminium shield. Comes from the bolt cracking because of heat. I didnt even hear it cause it's only there when you first start it up. might want to drive yours in or have some one start it up and listen for it. Mine is on the passager side of the engine. If you have any engine knocking that sounds like the old school main barring noise chances are that it needs a piston replaced. Thought some of this new information from dodge might help someone. Figure I kinda owe it to you all since this forum has saved me major long term money and helped make my truck alot of fun. FYI: for you R/T lovers. The Hemi will be introduced in your dakota's first. But bad new is that it'll look like the newer Durango. Fine if you like the new Durango look I guess. Be Cool and drive safe.
