Message: Well I didn't read that article but I've known about the RC being canceled a long time ago. There is no sport option either. At first I was very dissapointed about not being able to get a RC sport anymore, but after really looking at this hideous truck, I don't want one anyway.

Message: I first saw pics of this truck like two months ago, and I said I hated it. But after looking at the article today, it really isn't that bad. It needs some better rims but other than that it is still pretty stylish. It is going to be hard to find regular cab trucks any more. But I think dodge is headed in the right direction

Message: While I personally don't mind the appearance of the 05's, this sentence from the article sums up why I'm glad to have my 03 4x4 QC:
"Side-by-side with the old version, the new Dakota is less country-boy and more urban-sophisticate "

I'll get 20mpg on the hwy if I baby it with my 318 97 CC SLT. Though, lots of mods to get that, because stock, it would get 16.5 hwy. City, I probably get around 15mpg... maybe

Message: They also said a 426 HEMI would never fit into a '68 Dart, next thing you know the HEMI Dart is being sold from the dealer. The truck share almost everything with the Durango and the HEMI fits fine in there. It fits, they just want to make a few sales before they introduce the HEMI Dakota or no one would buy one yet.

Message: Ummm, actually, the HEMI is too tall for the Gen3 Dakotas, you would have to cut into the cowl to get it to fit. Now, granted, throw enough money at a problem and you can solve it, but it wouldn't happen in the Gen3 body. Now, I have seen a 426 HEMI in a Gen2 Dakota.. SWEET! (BTW, if you want to drop a HEMI in a Dakota, go with a Gen2, larger engine bay!)
