Brian, I am pretty sure it is exactly like my 03 Dak. You have to take off the front of dash. Three torx (wrong spelling i think) down by your feet to take off the bottom panel. Then two phillips up underneath the dash above your gauges. After that you have to work the dash panel off. You will have to take off the wiring clips for: air bag switch, heater, 4x4, and headlights. Then rotate it around. then there are just 4 bolts holding the radio in. It is really easy when you get to it, can change the radio in about an hour.

Dan has all the steps. One addition when removing the dash panel, if you have an auto, drop the steering wheel to it's lowest position, set the parking brake, and put the gear selector in "1". This will make removing the dash panel easier.

Good call on the steering wheel, I usually end up jockeying the steering wheel up and down some to work it out. As for putting it into 1... yeah, i have a stick.
