Message: There's moisture in the air, and already inside the housings. To seal them, you'de have to make absolutly sure there was no moisture inside first. Then simply cover all the seams with a small layer of silicone. Be sure and use a good grease at all the lamp fixture points, too.
But instead of sealing them, you should vent them a little better to dissapate the moisture that's bound to get in there over the years. I'd start with a 1/4" or so hole at the top and bottom of the housing. Then insert a rubber hose in the hole extended downward to prevent splashing into the holes during rain storms.

Message: so if i put the holes in the housing, this should prevent the moisture from building up inside?

Message: Yeah, it acts like your windshield defroster. That's why you put one hoile in the top and one in the bottom, so you get some air flow. I used to have an 83 T-bird that had a real problem with water in the headlight housings. I did this mod, and it pretty much cured the problem. With dramatic temp changes, you'd still get water in there, but not nbearly as much. And after a very short drive it would all be gone.
