 Subject: shifting @ 4K?????

just got a trandgo shift kit installed... man what a difference, shifts great...untill if floor it. Now my truck shifts @ 4K rpm under WOT. whats the deal? It used to shift a 5K. I adjusted the TV cable in and out, and it doesnt seem to make any difference now(it did before). Im taking my truck back to the trans place on saturday, but just thought Id ask for clues so maybe I could fix it myself or atleast know what the problem is. I dunno??? Any ideas??????

I'd say that if the TV cable makes no difference, either it's loose or broken somewhere. Even with the kit the TV cable should still be effective. That's where I'd start. Check with TransGo to see if perhaps a particular mistake in kit installation would cause this symptom.

Well its does change how it shifts, but it doesnt make it shift past 4K...weird huh? The cable seems like its working ok. Im going to e-mail the people at transgo on monday and hopefully rhey can point me in the right direction.
