This may seem like an obvious question to a lot of you, but this is a great place to get good advise. I am thinking about installing a K&N gen II intake. I also plan on installing a supercharger in about a year. If I install a supercharger, does this mean I can't use the K&N intake? In other words, will the K&N intake be a waste of money if I am going to install a supercharger in the near future? Thanks in advance for your input.

Most Super Chargers come with there own intake so if you do get one, the K&N will not be used anymore.

Save the cone from the K&N though. You can use it as an extra (or upgrade) for the filters supplied with the superchargers. (Especially Powerdyne...gonna give those boys a call today.)

Thanks Bernd, I appreciate that. I may go with a cheaper intake then. I have decided to go with a new exhaust instead of intake. I have decided in favor of a single 3" cat back that exits where the stock exhaust does. What would be the best system in this config for performance gains? That is my first concern. Sound is also a concern, but not as high as performance. If performance is equal, I would like a sound as close to Eleanor (Gone in 60 Seconds) as possible. Any input? Thanks.
