Subject: Suspension upgrade IP: Logged
Message: I have a 99 Dakota I just picked up for a work truck. The truck also has an aluminum camper on it with side compartments and a full sliding bed rat in the bed. With all this extra weight the rear sags a little. Upon first investigation, it appears to have the stock suspension.
Question is what is the best way to beef up the suspension? It is a 4x2 99 dakota. I would like to either put an overload spring on there, or beef it up to handle the extra weight, as well as able to pull a trailer.
Thank you,
David
