 Subject: mystery wire

While changing my brake pads the other day I noticed a ground wire going to the frame behind the drivers side wheel. It was broke off so I reconnected it. Have not noticed any problems before and no changes since reconnecting. Any idea what this is?

No idea, but the other day I was looking for a remote wire to hook up an amp, and I went by what someone on here said to splice into a thick blue wire under the steering column, and I cut into the wire and there was no metal inside. It was just the rubber outside like a wire??? You figure out the wiring in these things let me know

what year truck demon??? the newer ones have the wire for the third brake light on a topper and it is on drivers side behind front wheel.(stupid place to put itwhen it is for a topper)
