 Subject: transfer case chain

Hey everyone. My transfer case on my 2001 dakota is makin a noise. I done a search and according to most posts I read, the chain in my t-case is the problem. I am going to take it to the shop on monday, but I was just wondering about how much I am looking at to fix it. By the way it only has 73000 miles on it.

$400 - $600 It will cost $1400 if the chain breaks and takes out the case. Good luck. Dan
