When I accelerate at about 50-65 mph I here A rapid clicking noise from under the dash. When I take my foot off the gas pedal it stops, I push the pedal again and it returns. Sounds like a spark jumping between a gap in a wire, looked under the dash and see no signs of electrical problems. What could this be. Not heard at idling.

Dirty D -This may not be it (longshot), but I just isolated a noise that comes at comes and goes at 60 and it turned out to be a squeaky gas peddle. I thought it was something in the motor or behind the dash for a while also.It makes the sound when you push down and when you let up,just at that one 60 mph spot.I have not fixed yet but I am sure a little lubricant will fix.

Dirty D. My '01 quad cab makes a clicking sound from behind the steering wheel when I go in reverse in 4 wheel drive mode. Not always, but enough to make me concerned. No idea what it is.
