I'm having a problem with my gas gage it seems when its at half tank, the needle moves down and then back up. I know i have about half a tank of gas but it reads 1/4 tank then move back up after awhile. I also notice that when it does read empty and i go to fill it, i'm only able to put in 30 liters and its a 57 liter tank. Another issue i have is poor idle. I've changed cap and rotor, plugs and wires and the spark plug gap is good. Is it possible my fuel pump is going? Any help or ideas would be great thanks.

Forget the guage - use trip meter
you should also have a " reserve /fill now "
light , which still gives about 50 miles
Real problem is probably the IAT = needs cleaned

I've already cleaned the IAT i don't think this is the problem. I've also cleaned the throttle body with the same results.

poor idle problem could be the IAC motor on the back side of
the TB, did you give it a thorough cleaning as well?
