Does anyone know if the overhead console is pre wired to accept a trip /gas meter? I had a Dodge van that had it and the pocket is the same. ? Cost?

Rick, If I understand your ?, the answer is yes.
If its later model, the puter on my 2001 has only one wire for all the data functions. It's called the PCI bus, and digitally caries all the data like fuel, mileage, etc.
You have to splice into the PCI bus for all the data.

I was lucky enough to pick up a new o/h puter for my 2001 QC for $80.
After weeks of some research, looking at wire diagrams, and getting advice, I wired mine up, in about 20minutes or less, for FREE.
