 Subject: rear brakes

so I am at Advance Auto Parts today and they told me that the 2wd Dakotas in 91 came with 9 and 10 inch rear brakes, I did not know this. could someone please tell me a little bit more about this?

The standard rear brakes on all Dakotas are 2 1/2 X 10" drums. If you have the 2000lb payload option (as I did on my 01) the brakes are 2 X 11". That and XL tires are what make up that package.

That's a gen III, gen IIs use 9 and 10. I am finding out that the 10 are on the towing/heavy duty package for gen IIs
