P0031 is "upstream oxygen sensor heater circuit low (left cylinder bank)" according to my haynes 00- 03 dakota/durango book...

I got that one once.

It tured out to be MY fault!
One day a while back I had pulled the wiring harness down at the O2 sensors to look at the colors of the wires and to take readings. That's when I found out I had the wide band O2 sensors.

Well evidentally I didn't get one of those plastic wire retainers snapped back onto the hole properly and on a long drive the wires fell, and shorted one of the wires to my exhaust!

I drive it about 150 miles that way before I found the problem. Seperated and put the wires back where they were fastened and never had the trouble code since. That was like 6 months ago. When it snowed, I remember that.

i also get a p0051 code, and actually i had burnt wires too but after the installing the new sensor now ive got 31/51/and 0136...any thoughts?
