Subject: pcm fried? IP: Logged
Message: so i installed a new o2 sensor and after i paid 90 bucks for a diagnostic, all 4 sensors are not being read. So they figure the pcm may have to be reprogrammed. the codes i'm getting are.p 0131/0151/0136. I got the diagnostic check at a auto shop so now i have to pay another 90 bucks to get it done at a dodge dealer. any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Message: Did you try a re-set? Something you could try to do before you go to the dealership and does not cost you any money.

Message: you can also reset the pcm by unplugging it. it saves having to disconnect the battery and losing all presets on the radio and other stuff.
the pcm is on the passenger side inner fender. just unplug the connection nearest the firewall for about 10-15 secs. works great.

Message: when i installed the old sensor (which the wires were melting on the exhaust) (just spliced the wires back on) i now get the code p0031 and p0136. Sounds like the whole drivers side o2 sensor system is dead, deosnt make sense to me.
