Message: My ongoing battle with brake dust continues. Is there anything that can be done? My shiny clean wheels are filthy after only a couple of days. Is there aftermarket pads that will make a difference?
There must be something we can do!!!!!!!!!!!
I just hate a dirty truck

Message: I've heard that Raybestos pads (at PepBoys) leave little brake dust on the rims.

Message: The Raybestos brakes do help. I'm waiting for my brakes to wear out so I can put those on next. (Believe it or not, I have 40,000 miles and the brakes look and perform just fine) Until then, I guess it's just the nature of the beast.

That's what i've got waiting for my truck in the old toolbox. A set of Raybestos pads and shoes. I was going to change them this last weekend but decided to wait until this Saturday instead.
48800 miles and still on the original pads/shoes/rotors/drums.

Message: I have used the raybestos pads on my sons camaro(he was hard on brakes) and they helped tremendously. I think they were ceramic, not sure but I do remember they were about $50.00 for front pads. Thats what I plan on putting on my 1999 dakota when it needs it.

Message: I'm ordering Kleen Wheels soon, they basically are brake dust shields that fit inside the wheel and "supposedly" enhance brake cooling. Tired of damn brake dust!

Message: I battled brake dust for 2 1/2 yrs. so I purchased a set of APEX brand kevlar brake pads for around $40 and a set of crossed drilled rotors for around $60. Been installed for about 6 month and not a spec of dust. It's a miracle.
