Subject: Pro Comp Steering Stabilizer IP: Logged
Message: I just received my complete set of Pro Comp ES9000 shocks which included an ES2000 steering stabilizer. I installed all 4 shocks today, but am not sure how or even where to install the steering stabilizer to. There must be some sort of installation kit needed for the stabilizer? Also, I did not use boots for the rear shocks. Is this going to be a problem (I figured the stock fronts didn't use boots either). Thanks in advance.

Message: IMO, put the boots on. dust & dirt will get on the shafts and score the seals. off road or not.

Message: On the other hand boots trap mud inside them which can do even more harm. Most real wheelers don't use them.
