Subject: giving a 4x2 a 4x4 ride height IP: Logged
Message: Is this a pain in the butt? I have no use for 4wd but there is an AMAZING deal on a used 2003 quad cab 4x2 at a local dealership, but I like the ride height of the 4x4 so much better. Anyone have any idea what kind of money and effort would go into this? I'm not looking for a lift per se, just to make the ride height of a 2wd the same as a 4. Thanks.
Also, I'm sure it's been mentioned a billion times before, but what is the biggest tire that will fit without a lift and without rubbing?

Message: Any, or all, of: tires, body lift, coil spacers, diff blocks, suspension lift, or buy a 4x4 :-)

Message: Whoops, forgot to tell you to check out the Raised & Off road boards. Lots of other info there.
