Message: How hard is the brake pedal? Is it very difficult to press and brake from time to time or does it just build up pressure every once in a while?
I recently had to replace the check valve on the power brake booster. Hose conection broke off completely, resulting in no power assist whatsoever. Made for an interesting ride to Autozone!

Message: The brake pedal has only been hard twice in the past four days. But when it's hard it's very hard, very little movement. Check the front disc today when it happened and they were extremely hot. I think the front brakes were on the whole time.
I have a 2002 c/c 4x4 AWD with 75,600 miles. Brembo disk and Hawk Hvy pads
