Hi, just wondering if a/c evac is doable at home, the shop manual recommends the dealer do it, just wondering whats involved.

I need to look at my a/c, need to fix it for this hot weather.

Thanks

Brad

Recovery is not legal "at home", get a pro to do that part. It requires special equipment to collect and filter it. You can draw a vacuum and recharge it yourself if it's R134a.
