Subject: Antifreeze 60+Antifreeze/40- Water Probs IP: Logged
Message: If I mixed my antifreeze/water ratio at greater than 60/40 could I have problems with overheating in my Dakota???

Message: 50/50 gives the highest boiling point, but you can to up to 70% antifreeze without issues, it will lubricate fine and still cool fine. Better corrosion protection.

Message: In the summer 60% WATER and 40%
COOLANT, with 1 bottle of Red Line Water
Wetter works best .
Water cools better than coolant, but you
should'nt go less than 40% coolant for street
use.
In the winter go 50/50.
