Subject: High miles IP: Logged
Message: hey guys i have a 98 3.9 with 56,000. is there
anything that i can do besides stop driving to get this miles down or maybe to stop rolling for awhile.????? i have a digital OD and i need some solution

Message: Take out the fuse that controls the instrument panel. You won't have anything ie. tach temp-that's the down side. I did it with my Neon a few years ago, I knew I'd be back at the dealer for a problem, I took the fuse out so as not to go over the warranty miles.

I have a 99Dak with the 5.2L and I thought my miles were high.I just past 37000 miles and was going to take my fuse out but I have the extended warranty which runs to 75000 miles.It's really hard to keep the miles off so I said heck with that why buy a new truck if your going to worry about the miles!!!!

I'm glad I already have my Dak with certified miles... I would be mad to be the second owner of any cars with misrepresented milage.
