Message: Hey Everyone,
I just bought a 2001 Dakota Sport Plus (silver) and put the Line-X (over-the-top) bedliner. I love the truck and have read a lot of the forums. Great website. Luckily I haven't had a lot of the problems some guys have had with their new vehicles. I did notice however, a lot of rust on the undersides of the truck and engine. I know these trucks have been sitting on the lots for awhile now but just curious if your dealers did anything for you? Thanx in advance

Message: Congrats on the new truck Carlos, Iv'e known the feeling. I know what you mean about the rust under the truck. When I was looking around at the dealers, I saw alot of the that. How do like the Line-X liner. Iv'e been thinking about doing that to my truck when I get it, but I'm not to keen on the idea of them having to sand/scruff the bed of a brand new truck to apply that stuff. Best of luck to you with the new ride.

Message: I don't know about Carlos, but I had the same Line-X sprayed over-the-bedrails on my '01 QC and they did an awesome job... well worth it. It's pretty tough, had rocks and concrete thrown around in the bed and no problems.

Message: Hey guys,
Thanks for the replies. I also love the Line-X (over the top). Getting it sprayed over the top seemed like a no-brainer. I just don't see how you can really utilize the truck effectively and not get the top of the bed all scratched up (I'm always resting things on it). Anyway, the black line-X looks cool since my truck is silver... it goes with the tires, tinted windows, door handles, etc...
