Okay guys, I am selling my CJ-7 because I can't afford to keep fixing it and driving it. I found a 95 Sport Regular Cab for $2500obo not sure much else about it at this time.
I read on carsurvery.org a bunch of mixed feelings for these trucks.
I would like a truck, since Im used to driving a Jeep, it feels ackward driving a car even though I love sports cars, and I am a chevy/gmc person myself, however, they are a bit more pricey and I am NOT a fan of the vortec engines in them, namely the 4300.
What should I look out for with this Sport? It has 80k miles, and I'll try to get more info out of him later.

Only 80,000 miles and $2500? That's not too rough a deal. Run a quick search on these boards for pre-97' Daks and I'm sure you'll get the low down on problem areas. But that's not a bad price, in my opinion.

depends on where you are located and where the truck has been all of its life of course, check behind the flares for rot, on all 4 wheel wells. Just pull them back a bit at the top and you will see if it is rotten, also the bottom edge of the tailgate is another bad area on some.

Okay well I found out more, its got the 4banger in it with a 5 speed. Needs a new clutch, got hit and run in the front...little bit of damage. $2500 sounds way too high for that, I think I'll offer like $1500 if i even go look at it. I don't feel like messing with a clutch.
I might have to finance out a damn s10...theres a place here that usually has a few with low-mid milage (2 months ago when i Looked they had 3 under 55k miles, 1 was even a '00 sonoma v6 auto) and all were under 7 grand.
But anyway tell me what yall think it should be worth based on that..nothing major has been replaced on it lately.
