This is a kid I knows civic si. There were 3 kids in the car when it hit a pole sideways at 85+ mph!!! The kid in the pass seat, cracked his pelvis, the kid driving had a headache, and a scratched face, the kid in the back seat broke his nose! pretty lucky kids! Hope the link works!

yea i bet it's in the shop getting fixed right now isnt it?...WRONG...it's a tin can now...i got rearended by a 3500 hd chevy truck and then rearended a honda and all i needed was a rear bumper and hammer a dent out of the front bumper...the honda got sent into oncoming traffic and then ping ponged into a median, leaving a cloud of plastic and moving parts behind it...if you think hondas are durable, why dont you give the door a good kick and see what happens...

So its good when a car goes sideways at 85? hell I'm never gonna be caught in a honda. those kids were just lucky. Last honda I saw go sideways into a pole killed three people inside, passenger on the opposite side in the rear broke his collar bone, on the head of the person next to him, when she was thrown into him... he was the only one to survive. they were going 65 at the point of impact... they were friends of a friend. you wont see a truck go sideways into a pole doing much damage to the FULL FRAME, it'll destroy the pole, and at most possibly flip the truck...IF you could even get two tons to go sideways.... it won;t be disintegrated like a plastic, disposible honda.....

Most of you know my take on Honda's. They are DEATH TRSAPS I don't care what safelty ratings they have!
Everyone I've known who got into a fender bender with one was TOTALLED!
The junk yards are FULL of Honda's yet I can't find any Dakota's!!!!!!!
JUNK! Run a civic into a trash can. The trash can WINS!

Well I'm sure all you other plastic body cars are just the same including the Dodge Neon. As soon as you weck it just tow it to the car cusher and look for another one.
Heres one bad thing about a FWD car. If you even get a slight bump up front it could tear up the transmission. Also the front end will be out of line for sure.

just yesterday, two civics were racing here in lunch hour traffic on a major road. one lost control and (so the story goes) hit the curb then went into the other lane of traffic where it was broadsided by an Explorer. The two teens in the civic were DOA and the woman was released from the hospitial a few hours later.
and i believe today they arrested the man who they think was driving the other honda, and are charging him with manslaughter and some other things.
sadly though, just because the civic had a body kit, exhaust, and some altezzas, the police are making it a huge "2 fast 2 furious" deal. and a lot of people i know that goof off in their cars, don't do it in that area because its so busy day and night. the good thing though, the principal from a nearby school said street racing has ALWAYS been a problem, and its not something new to this generation. at least somebody is speaking up.
anyway, id rather be in a truck or suv for a wreck. NEVER a car, no matter what car it is. hell, i'd rather get broadsided in a jeep before a car, at least jeeps get roll cages stock.

It is a Too Fast Too Furious deal. They were racing Pokemon cars weren't they? That's what this generation deems cool I guess for racing. I realize everyone screws around but look at what they were driving and tell me they weren't influenced by the movie.
