Anyone have this happen to them before. I went fishing this morning and when I was going to leave I had to put my truck in 4wd to get out. Well it wouldnt go so i just got out in 2 with a bit of tact. Well I went to play with it tonight I tried to put it in 4 nuetral still nothing. SO I went to put it into 4 low and it went into 4 hi. I went to push it back into 2 and it slid right up no problem, but didnt come out of 4hi. Im clueless

make sure that when you're shifting out of 4wd that you have your steering wheel and front tires straight. drive for about 10 feet to make sure they are straight. i thought i had a problem too when i was getting onto a highway from some deep snow.

My1998 dodge dakota is stuck half way in 4 wd and half out
how do I fix this . It is my main source of transportation.
