Message: I am going to have to replace the second set of factory tire in my 2001 quad cab 4x4 with 265/70/R16. I was wondering if anyone would suggest another tire? I have put about 32,000 miles on the truck in a little over a year. Commuting 80 miles round trip tends to do that. I am looking for something with a little more tread life.
Thanks

Message: 2 sets of tires in 32k? wow! i got 45 out of my original good years that came on mine. I replaced them with toyo open country at's and so fat i like them alot. If you dont go off road the toyo open country m410 is a great tire and the best part is they wont cost you 150 per tire like the good years.

Message: jb,
I have put 32,000 on the truck since I bought it. The truck has 63,000 miles on it.

Message: Check out the BF Goodrich Land Terrian at your local Wal-Mart. I put them on my 2001 QuadCab 4X4 in early December (LT265/75R16).
They are good onroad and offroad. I have put over 6000 miles on them with no problems.
Cost is less then most other tires.
