Has anyone ever changed a waterpump on their
dakota? If so I was interested on the difficulty of this
repair and the price of it as well. Please let me know as

I had a 90 with 3.9 V6. I changed my own water
pump and half way through the project I wished I
would have just dropped it off to a repair shop
and let them do it. I got the job done and no
leaks or parts left over. lol
If I had to to it over again, I'd think twice but
I did save a lot of money doing it myself.
I now have a 02 with 4.7. I have not even looked
for the water pump on that engine yet. I hope I
never have to either.
Good luck on your project. You can do it if you
put your mind to it and take your time.
