 Subject: wheel sizing

i was looking at my tires the other day and saw that they were 235/74 R15 then remembered reading that dakota's came with 16" wheels so i measured the rim and it was 16". why do i have a R15 tire on it. actually.. how did they get a R15 tire on it. im confused. its a 94 slt cc 4x4.

Dakotas didn't get 16" wheels until '01 I think. And your wheels aren't 16" in diameter. If they are stock, look on your driver's door for the sticker.
