I have a 1989 Dodge Dakota FACTORY Convertible for sale- one of only about 3000 produced. Great for cruising in the summertime with the wind blowing in your hair. You WILL get many stares as you drive this because most do not even know that these exist as convertibles. I purchase this a few years back, and have done almost a complete restoration with exception of the transmission. The paint is less than two years old- black basecoat/ clearcoat is nearly flawless. I would rate the paint an 8 out of 10. The 3.9 liter V-6 motor was replace last year with a new motor coming with a three year/ 70,000 mile warranty. I replaced the original vinyl convertible top with a canvas top- a great improvement. The rear bumper is no longer there, has been replaced by a roll pan which smooths it out very nicely. I just purchased four new Goodyear Eagle GT II tires about two weeks ago for it. The interior has had minor work done on it, the armrests were replaced with handmade woodgrain. It now has a CD player with a Rockford Fosgate amplifier and two ten inch subwoofers behind the seat. The sound system is powerful enough to overcome windnoise on the highway with the top down. Many other things have been replaced on this, too many to mention. As far as faults of this truck, the cruise control is flaky and the transmission resists going into overdrive until it is warmed up. Also, there is a ding in the passenger side door which you might notice on the pics. Other than that, this truck is a great daily driver and is very reliable. It has power steering, power brakes, power windows, power locks, and air conditioning. It is in great condition and may even win a few local shows if you choose to enter it.
