If anyone has words they see on the message boards please post them here and I will make sure they never plague the forums again.
I HATE CENSORSHIP!
There are always ways around it like spelling things slightly different but we'll see what happens. At least we'll start to see some creativity. I like creativety as much as I hate censorship so I see it as an equal trade off.

If this site is going to be about censorship you will not find me among the posters here any more. This country we live in was founded because censorship was one of the many things the people living here saw as a great evil. I for one will not participate in something evil. Mark will you institute computer burning if you get away with word banning????

word banning is common on nearly all other forums.. why not this one? Besides, if I read this board at work, and the admins see that $hit, they are going to be pi$$ed at me.
It is for the better, just learn alternate spellings that won't get us in trouble

Larry Flint would be pissed. How about words like genocide, ethnic cleansing, and predjudice, they hit home a lot harder than the other word that means rectum. Rectum sounds awfull compared to a$$. A$$ is so weak if you ask me.

Funny that you hear the word "ass" on the radio and TV everyday, but little whiny b1tches get offended seeing it on this forum. You hear this language everyday, everywhere, mostly on TV, but you decide to complain about it on this site. Are your lives that boring that you can't find anything else to complain about?? Must be nice that your biggest problem is having the word ass appear in a post on this website. Get some balls (not mike)and mind your own business. Find something else that's worth getting offended over. I can't believe this many other Dak owners are little b1tches. And no kraw, most other forums don't ban words. They also don't cry about seeing "a bad word". Sorry if I hurt anyone's little ears. Have a good cry and you'll get over it.

Good deal, I'm all for it. Censorship doesn't restrict what you can say it just makes you use language fit for normal society. Who really cares what Larry Flint thinks? It's funny the liberals stand so strongly on the constitution on this one tiny point but will shread it every other chance they get, idiots. The language on this message board may have caused some to turn away, I personally whould have been interested in what they could contribute. I'm a former salior so the language really doesn't bother me, but maybe my daughter would like to learn more about cars, with the language floating around here before I would have lead her someplace else.

Look... We dont want to offend anyone do we? God (or insert your favorite diety here) knows that about the worst thing you can do in todays "PC" world is to offend someone. So I suggest that we stop using those dirty "slang" words and speak our language the way that Mr. Webster intended it. Why use dirty words like "$hit" and "A$$" when you can use a beautifull ones like "Feces" or "Anus". Don't call that guy an an "A$$hole"...thats disgusting. Call him an "Anal Canal" and remain within the realms of polite society.
Even better, we really should be asking ourselves... could what I'm about to say possibly offend any one person (or combination thereof) in any conceivable (or inconceivable) way now or throughout space and time. If you apply that simple little rule before ever saying anything, this world will be a much more acceptable place and you will be assured a spot in Heaven with all of the other good "non-offensive" people. I think that TigerDak is right... we could all learn a valueable lesson by going to church where there is no vulgarity; I mean have you ever heard of a Priest or Minister doing something "Vulgar" or "Profane"? NO WAY. it just doesn't happen!!
So Im gonna do my part!!! If everyone will just post a reply telling me how I should think, and what my opinion should be. I will conform myself to you, and i suggest that everyone else does the same. Once we have killed the monster that is individuality and the scurge of free thinking this will be a much happier forum, and planet, for us all .
