Subject: 48' flat bed trailer vs. 02 dakota IP: Logged
Message: I ran in to the back corner of a 40' semi trailer loaded with hay. I was able to drive it home about 10 miles and the temp. guage didn't rise a bit. But the radiator is noticabley smashed and there was some coolant on the ground. Not alot though. The hood is junk along with the grill. Each fender has a couple ripples but no kinks. The gaps where the door swings open are still perfect. No damage to the bumper at all. I havn't been able to get the hood off yet for a full assesment. Best case is a new hood and new radiator. Looks like the A/C condenser might be a little banged up, or it could just be twisted. I'll post pics soon as I anticipate that I'll need plenty of help and advice. Right now I'd just like your estimates of how much a hood and radiator will cost. I will call junk yards tomorrow so I'd just like to know what prices I should expect. Thanks in advance for everything.
