Ok, I was in the garage and happened to look over at my Dakota and decided to inspect something a bit closer...the screws that the stereo shop drilled thru the cab wall to mount the amps...so while I am looking at that I notice these two odd looking items on the cab wall between the cab and the bed....They are evenly spaced one almost behind each seat, but a bit more to the center...They have what looks to me like cooling fins on them they are about 6 to 8 inches tall and maybe 4 inches wide......What the heck are these things....?.....Anyone ever notice these let me know....

Those are vents to help equalize air pressure in the cab.

thanks, appreciate the answer....I definitely never thought of that....well at least i still have one thats functional...they covered the passenger side one up with my alpine sub amp....oh well gotta make sacrafices somehow...
