1. Did you make sure the gauges you got are 100% compatible with the sensors in question?
2. Did you do the rewiring yourself?
3. Did you make sure you did the wireing correctly?

With ingnition off hold the odometer reset button in with your finger. While still holdin it in turn the ignition switch all the way ON but don't start the motor. After a few seconds the odometer will show that it is in diagnostic mode and you can let go of the reset button. all the lights will flash and the guages will sweep through there motions, low, medium, and high. Then a code is supposed to be displayed in the odometer but I haven't figured that part out yet.. Good luck

I had a similar issue, and this "mostly" works, meaning I used it for a couple gauges, but couldn't use it some others..

Go to the junkyard to replace the indicators.

Thanks to Halo for this info!

I recently installed a face kit in my panel also. Here's all I did to recalibrate my gauges:

Turn the ignition on. This will energize the tach and the speedometer and of course they will read zero. Pull the needles on the 2 off and reposition them so that they read zero. The oil press gauge should also read zero. Pull the needle off it and reposition it to read zero. The Voltage gauge should read 12V. Pull the needle off it and reposition it to read 12V. Now you are done. Start the engine and check your readings. The tach should be about 600rpm for the 4.7L and just under 700rpm for the 5.2/5.9. The voltage guage should be reading about 13.7V. The oil pressure should read about 40psi. Go drive it at 60mph and time the intervals between the mile markers. You should hit a mile every 60sec plus or minus 1 sec. Once you confirm everything is correct, put the front bezel and dash trim back on and your finished.

I forgot to mention that you can't push the needles back in all the way or they will drag. Only push them on half way. I've only had mine in for 5K (3 months), but I've had no problems. Pushing them on half way also makes them easier to pull back off when ever you deside to. If the manufacturer of the face plates would cut them on center you could push the needles in all the way. I've had 3 and none of them have had the hole cut-outs for the needles perfectly centered on the gauges. If they were centered properly then you could push the needles in all the way.
