 Subject: Lost items out of p/u truck

How many of you have ever lost stuff out of the back of your trucks while going down the highway? I lost a kitchen cabinet on the DC beltway when I hit a huge crater in the road. Truck bounced really hard and out it came. Luckily it didn't hit anyone. Stuff I almost lost: Brand new Lawnboy mower and electric oven. Now I carry tiedowns so I'll have them at all times.

it is illegal as as phuque to carry a load in your truck without it being tied down? now you know why the states passed laws to make a unbound load illegal dooffuss!

one time i driving with my friend in his truck when his tailgate fell open and we lost a whole truckful of firewood on the road.
