Subject: grease zerks IP: Logged
Message: I was going to lube the chassis on my 2000 Dakota Club cab 3.9L but when I crawled underneath, there were no grease zerks. An after market manual I bought says that if there are no zerks, to install some. Is there a plug or something where these would install? If so, is it obvious? I'm no master mechanic, but just looking, I couldn't figure out where they'd go even if I had them. Any advice appreciated.

Message: You can use a needle attachment to your grease gun and slip it under/puncture the rubber boot. If you wait too long to do this, then you will end up replacing them!
