Subject: lights under my tonneau IP: Logged
Message: Hey Guys
I installed some lights under my tonneau and put them on a pin switch. What I am looking for is if anyone knows of a time relay that will shut the lights off after a little while, if the cover is left open?

Message: I use time delay relay's (delay on or delay off) in control panels all the time. The question is, How is you light powered?
If you are using 12 volts from the trucks battery, you should be able able to find them from most electrical suppliers. They usualy come as as a plug in modual and you just wire the base. Not sure where you could mount it though. Just Do a search on Time delay relay.
If its a disposable battery powered light you would probably have problems finding a relay that would work.
