it hits everything.tranny parts,exhaust,cross member, front drive shaft.i just cant seem to get the right angle or tip.

I am not familiar witht the bottom of that particular truck but, if it won't come out your gonna have to move or remove one of the parts it is hitting. You also may be able to jack up the exhaust, engine/trans, etc. to gain more space. Good luck.

Just did mine last weekend. It's a 91 V8 4WD. I had to remove the front axle, steering linkage, and the brace that goes from the engine mount to the transmission on the left side. My exhaust was never an issue. Plan on spending the whole day under the truck...

got it.little bit of a PITA.had to get crossmember out of the way.jacked up t-case a bit to hold every thing up.removed the six crossmember bolts on the frame.clip holding two lines,and the four nuts on the bottom of the trans. crossmember was like compression fit,so it was difficult to get it tilted out of the way.once the member was out of the way,piece of cake.ya,deffinatly a day job
