Message: i removed the stickers on my truck but in some areas it left a white thin sticker that seems to be the back of the sticker, like the adhesive. ive tried rubbing real hard with hot soap water, gas, and a blow dryer to it. what is the best way to get this crap off! and is there any adhesive remover thats safe on auto. paint i can use to get it off with ?

Message: I had some of that as well. I soaked it with Goo-Gone for 10-15 minutes, then rubbed with a cloth. I also had a plastic scraper that I used to scrape any remnants off without scratching it.

Message: i used a plastic scrapper as well, it doesnt scratch the paint so that is something for anyone reading this out there... use those but buy about 3 packs if u plan to do ya truck, they are 88cents for a pack at walmart. they go dull quite quickly and u might as well throw them away.
if i remember right, that goo-gone crap was at walmart and said it takes off paint as well ... i dont want to rub that stuff on my truck and take off my paint as well. ill go check again and test on a small spot of my truck that is hard to see.
so that goo-gone took that white stuff off easy or what? thanks bro

Message: I razor bladed all stickers off my truck. Came off very fast and not ONE scratch anywhere on my paint. Gotta have a steady hand though and some patience. That blow dryer technique is a load of crap I tried that and quickly gave up.

Message: goo gone DOES not take off paint!! and will work great. unless they have more than one brand. I use goo gone on paint all the time. just wash it after your done. goo gone with a hard plastic wedge works best. then rub with goo gone and cloth. then wash

Message: Go to a Sherwin-Williams dealer and buy some "Sher-Will-Clean" solvent cleaner. It did the trick for me. Just keep it soaked and scrape with a plastic putty knife.
